Intel Celeron 366MHz CPU Running Super Pi on Windows 98

Post by Apoptosis »

A close family friend dropped off his PC for me to work on today...

This beast is an old EMachines with an Intel Celeron running at 366MHz with 64MB of PC100 memory. The processor has a bus speed of 66Mhz and 128KB of cache...

Yes, you're seeing that correctly... 6 minutes forty-six seconds to run Super Pi to 1M places... It's just a reality check that not everyone is running systems like we are... This 250nm beast is nothing like the 65nm processors we can get today.
