Need advice for newly purchased E6600 system

Post by FlameofTheWest »

I just got a E6600 2.4 GHz to top off the rebuilding of my system. Its going to be looking like this.

E6600 Duo 2 Core 2.4 Ghz
Radeon X1900 GT
Asrock 775DUAL-VSTA Motherboard
1 stick Gig DDR2 667mhz Ram

My question is right now I have a 450w power supply and im wondering if this is going to be sufficent to run the system atleast for a couple weeks until I replenish my cauffers. I just wanted to get an opinion before i start putting this monster together and get excited to run Supreme Commander and the power supply blows on me or something.

If it's a good quality PSU then it should be ok for a while.
Do you have a digital multimeter? You should check the voltages to see if they fluctuate alot.
What brand PSU is it?

Welcome to LR Forums btw!
