Running single core apps using one core only automatically

Post by tikoz »

I've had issues with single core applications/games with my intel core 2 due (fujistu siemens amilo pi 1556 notebook) and i know i can set them to use single core from my task manager, but i want those to start using single core automatically? any workarounds or utilities i can use?
and sorry if i posted in the wrong forum, if i did please move it to the appropriate forum :)
thanks in advance

Try this program http://majorgeeks.com/WinLauncherXP_d870.html. I used to see a program listed all the time on a game forum when dual cores first came out. People got tired of manually setting the affinity and linked a program. I don't know it is this one but it's worth a shot.
