safe temp Help!!!

Post by smokin_mitch »

ok i just updated my BFG 680i bios to p27 and my temps in bios monitor have skyrocked

they were before at 34-37cel on p23 bios on p27 in bios system monitor now my temps are 45-47cel

this is gettin too hot i think??? any1 im using a thermaltake bigtyp 120vx to cool my e6700 overclocked @ 3.5Ghz 24/7

thinking of gettin a watercoolong kit like this but with a 2x120mm radiator and puttin it in the front of my case (takes up 6 5 1/4 drive bays) iom using the thermaltake armor case (got 11 5 1/4 drive bays so i got plenty of room to spare) :drinkers:

bios temps are always high. Run CoreTemp it reads the CPUs internal diode, and its what Intel uses. http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/Co ... reTemp.zip

My bios reads upper 60s low 70s were as in reality the temps are closer to mid 50s

If coretemp doesn't work then you haven't disabled driver signing. Hit F8 on boot and select the option that says something about not requiring signed drivers.
