a friend of mine is selling his old E6400 never been overclocked or mistreated, how much should he sell it for in AUS money?

Depends on the buyer, the price can drop to around 150-200 AUSD. Just ask many stores and see which one has the best deal. If you make it look like new, maybe the price will be higher.

Did i state the question wrong? This is a second hand E6400 from a friend of mine not from a pc store, you can buy a brand new one for $220 or even a better core!

find what the chip is selling for new, depreciate the value a bit, and sell it for what you believe is a reasonable price. someones bound to bite.

I know it's your friend's and it's second-hand. I meant, you can check out stores or other friends that want to buy it. Sorry if i didn't write it well.

ahh i was thinking of about a half price thing he bought it for $220 i thought $120-130 was reasonable...
