Xeon -> Multicore possible?

I have a Dell Precision 450,
2x Xeon 3.06Ghz CPUs

Is it possible to drop a multicore cpu into the existing motherboard?

What socket Xeon? 604 or 771?

HTT = Hyper Threading Technology.

Having a hyper threating processor would only over heat more and put risk to your life. :lol:
