E8200 overclocking?

E8200 overclocking?

Im buying new CPU and motherboard on thursday, just wondering how would it overclock while being stable.

CPU: INTEL E8200 CORE2D 2.66GHZ 1333/6M S775

Motherboard: P5Q ASUS S775 IP45 DDR2 SATA2 GBLAN 8CH ATX

Memory: KVR800D2N5/1G 1GB 800MHZ DDR2 NON-ECC CL5 DIMM ( 2 of those )

Each chip is different, so we can't pull a figure for you.

But most of the new 45nm chips are good overclockers, so your E8200 should be able to get into the very high 3Ghz range (maybe beyond if your board can go high on the FSB overclocking).

unless you get a dud you should be able to do very good with that setup, but like dan said we cant give you an exact number
