OCCZ linpack questions.

Why does this make my CPU SOOOOO much hotter than prime/orthos, gaming, benchmarking and everything. The max my CPU gets gaming is 61C the max benchmarking is 60C and the max gaming is 54C, yet this program raises my temps to almost 70C!!!!! Is this normal or are my other programs just not running as good as they should.

I imagine it's the math involved with the test. Some are designed to put more stress on the CPU.
