Core Multiplexing Technology processor when enabled

My processor is Intel(R)Pentium(R)Dual CPU-2.00 GHz
I have a problem when i enable the core Multiplexing Technology. When i play games or do programing my PC restarts. But later my friend tells me that he had the same prob and do disable the core Multiplexing Technology. now my PC works properly. Is the any bad effects of doing this?
