Upgrade CPU (to Core 2 Duo)

I have an notebook named Acer Aspire 5572ANWXMi of Aspire 5570 Series (Everest shows the mainboard model 5570) which is using an Intel Core Duo T2250 on the chipset 945GM. Now, I want to upgrade the current CPU to a higher one and I want it to be a Core 2 Duo. Could anyone tell me what Core 2 Duo CPUs that I can use for the upgrade? I had a post on Intel website and other forums but I still haven't found a satisfied answer (some people told me that I cannot upgrade to any Core 2 Duo CPUs because no Core 2 Duo CPUs are supported by this chipset ). I hope I will find a good answer here. Thank you all.
