Hello Everyone. Wow I'm luckey to reach at 4.Ghz on my Core i7 920

its nearly possible to reach at this speed! and its stable very much please post yur comments....... Below is my uploaded pic
My specs are below.
Core i7 920
Asus Rampage II Extreme x58
Corsair DDR3 6GB 1600Mhz
CoolerMaster V8 CPU Cooler
CoolerMaster 750W Real Power
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM 32MB
Vista Ultimate SP2 x64

Dude I've stressed it out for like 20Hrz and this little monster giving smile on more stressing out....

Well the highest Temp I have recorded is 65c I think which is extra normal on 4+Ghz and now I'm trying to move this little monster on above 4.2 or 4.3Ghz lets see what its response....!

go for it...you have the D0 stepping so it shouldn't be too much of an issue

well InspectahACE What do you think, at what speed my processor can go....? Do you think it'd go beyond 4.2Ghz??

I'd say it would go up to 4.2 Ghz maybe 4.3..I haven't seen much on how far it could go without Extreme cooling

How hot did your chip get running it full tilt? With the V8 I'm guessing high 70's.
