Xeon X3450 compatibility question

Post by deeps6x » Sun Dec 06, 2009 1:04 pm

Does anyone know if the 3450 will work with the Gigabyte P55M-UD4 motherboard? (Or any of the Gigabyte 1156 motherboards)

Also, does anyone have a good review link for the 3450?

Welcome!

From what I'm hearing, most, if not all p55 boards work fine with these LGA1156 Xeon chips, yet are not "officially" supported as they are specifically designed for Core i5 and i7 cpus.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong or has any personal experience.
