Could some one please post a easy way for me to get to 4.0 to 4.2 That would be stable. My temps are fine so far. My build is in my sig. Thanks.

Just start bumping up the CPU Voltage in order to get it stable.

I take it that you like my rig or is just the cpu?

It's a hell of a nice rig you have :mrgreen:

I'm sorry I can't help with overclocking on the i7 platform. I haven't been keeping up with overlocking this past 12 mths.
It does look a bit like the old days with AMD64 and the HT bus.
Seems all you need to do is increase the bus a little at a time, but keeping the uncore/mem controller and memory frequencies in check by lowering those multipliers as you go up on the bus.
Asus boards nowadays seem to use good settings when you use "AUTO" in the bios, so just start with the main settings (bus, multi(s), memory divider) & voltages (cpu, uncore/mem controller, VTT)
