Processor
I just recently upgraded to an Intel dual core e8400 that is rated at 1337 for the FSB. I recently downloaded CPUZ to check my membory so i wouldent have to open it up, but what i saw my processor sitting at 333mhz for the FSB, and it doesnt change, does anyone know what i could do to solve this?
Re: Processor
how modern processors work, is that you have the effective operating frequency for the CPU, then you have the Bus Speed which the rest of your components use for a reference, Intel's Core2 line uses what is called a Quad Pumped FSB, the FSB is 333MHz, but gets quadrupled to 1333MHz. theres more to it than that, but that is already more than you really need to know
in other words: 333MHz is what it should be.
