hello i need some help

i have 2 Intel processors 1 2.0 1 2.4 GHz my PC will run the 2.0 but not the 2.4 GHz and i don't know y both are 400 fsb only difference is the stepping and the revisions are different there both north wood Intel cpus 478 socket oh and the multipliers are different
