Trying to follow my upgrade plan (waiting for quads to fall in price so I could get one dirt cheap) and was pretty appalled to find prices for USED Core 2 Quads higher than some of the newest processors out? Whatever happened to the days that I got an AMD x 2 for roughly $60?

Anyone have a Core 2 quad they would like to get rid of for cheap? (Preferably one built on the 45nm process)

Core2 Quads are expensive because they are very powerful, even the 65nm C2Qs are still quite a bit more powerful than the Phenom II X4's clock for clock. i picked up my Q8400 for $130 shipped a few weeks ago and am very happy with it since it was very easy to overclock

Yea, I'm starting to think that's going to be my only option here pretty soon........
