help undervolt asus z71v

well i want to undervolt my notebook. i read the following

i have the necassary programs to achieve undervolting. the problem is i dont understand how apop set up his notebook hardware control. maybe i can get a more detailed explanation or a screenshot of what exactly am i to do ?

You have the latest Centrino Hardware Control software installed?

1) Set the CPU Clock to Dynamic Switching
2) Lower the Voltage to .700V or as low as you can go keeping stability up

It is as easy as that once you get all the software downloaded and installed. If you want screen shots still let me know and I'll make you some.

i have the centrino hardware control... but how do i set it to .700 v ? let me come back hoem see what i have it set to

under CPU Voltage control there is a drop down menu that shows load and idle voltages.... just lower them to where you want them... the lower you go the better your battery life will be.
