My System:
Mobo - Asrock Z390 Phantom Gaming 6
CPU - i5 9600KF
GPU - RTX 2070
RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ

Wife's System:
Mobo - MSI H310M Pro VDH Plus
CPU - i3 9100F
GPU - GTX 780
RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ

Daughter's System:
Mobo - Gigabyte H81M
CPU - i3 4160
GPU - GTX 570
RAM - 16GB DDR3 1600MHZ

Plan was to upgrade my wife to similar specs to me but starting with mobo and cpu then gpu nearer to christmas once funds have increased. However, i found that a Z370/90 mobo and 9600k/f would be around £300 used. While a Z590 and 11600kf would be around £350 new.

So i went ahead and ordered a MSI Z590 Gaming Edge Wifi and an 11600KF for £315. However, the mobo arrived today but no cpu. After contacting the retailer, they informed me the cpu was out of stock and i shouldn't have been able to order  They said they would honour the discounted price if i don't mind waiting for stock to replenish around mid may which would in turn save me £50. So turns out it would be a nice bday present for myself after all.

So i will be upgrading my pc to the 11600k and my mobo and cpu will become an upgrade for the wife followed by my daughter having the 9100f. Next upgrade would be a gpu upgrade for my wife and daughter as a christmas present :)

Always fun to build new systems :)
Pricing has been insane since the covid excuse is still being used to raise prices across the board even though they are making MORE profit so even though I would love to build a new system, I will be waiting.

Used prices aren't far off new prices right now. Your better off going new over used until this excuse for price hiking comes down if it ever does.

I like your thought path!
My old systems always get handed down!
If you build them, YOU should always have the Best One sitting at your Desk!
Anything else is unacceptable! :)

I used to do that but the wife only wants a laptop and the step-kid has her own house and uses her phone for everything.....like a 6" screen is great for viewing stuff....

So seeing as the 11600k went up by £30 and the 10700k went down £20 i ended up with the 10700k. It was only £20 more then i was going to pay for the 11600k (before price hike) but i have 8 cores and 16 threads as supposed to 6 cores 12 threads. Better for streaming :)

So finally my new ram arrived so i could upgrade my wife and daughters PC. The drr4 memory i was going to buy for my daughter as she had a ddr3 system before meant spending £65 for used corsair vengeance rgb pro 3200mhz ddr4 while i was able to get corsair vengeance rgb pro 32gb 3600mhz used for £90. So a little upgrade for me in the memory department not that i needed it.

I push around 10-20gb memory while gaming and streaming. Wife doesn't stream and no plan to do so and uses 7-12gb while gaming. Eldest daughter never seen above 8gb used

My System:
Mobo - MSI Z590 Gaming Edge Wifi
CPU - i7 10700k 4.8ghz
GPU - RTX 2070
RAM - 32GB DDR4 3600MHZ

Wife's System:
Mobo - Asrock Z390 Phantom Gaming 6
CPU - i5 9600KF @ 4.6ghz
GPU - GTX 780 @ 1100mhz
RAM - 16GB DDR4 @ 3200MHZ

Daughter's System:
Mobo - MSI H310M Pro VDH Plus
CPU - i3 9100F
GPU - GTX 570 850mhz
RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ
