Core Duo availability?

Post by wuzy »

The other day I was bored enough to read the dreadful PCWorld(March) magazine and saw they had Dell's new E1705 benchmarked.
And the review sound like you cold buy one already! With prices and everything.

I thought Core Duo laptops aren't aviliable in retail yet, no?

They are out at the big companies like Dell and all... No ODM's (whitebooks) are out yet though. I'm waiting! to buy one myself.

Did a search for "Duo" at Best Buy and it came up with three Sony laptops.

I mean the review sounded like you could already get one in your hands RIGHT THIS INSTANT!

Funny thing is I haven't seen anything about Core Duo on web other than preview laptops.

Bah, who cares about PCWorld anyway. They're probably trying to jump ahead hoping Core Duo laptops would be availiable when the magazine gets published. :axe:
