yup. supposedly conroe is supposed to be really good


and for all u silence freaks it can run passive w/ the stock heatsink "supposedly"

It seems it will be a very good processor but will it be 64bit capable?
I ask that because the intel core duo processors aren´t

i think its fairly obvious that it is, intel would not make a glaring mistake like that, 64-bit support is the new "must have" thing!

the current core duo is not but I think the next gen of cpu (ie the one in the review) is.

So looking at that site we can expect an ~8% increase (taken from their results over all games tested) for conroe over FX-62.

Sweet. I would love to get that rig and watercool and overclock conroe.

Ive read somewhere that these babies have smashed the 1M Super Pi WR to less than 10 seconds now :shock:

conroe is actually more than 8% better than FX-62

Look closely at the CPU-Z screenshot. Says EM64T at the end. :mrgreen:

conroe hits past 4 Ghz on air cooling (Tuniq Tower 120) with liquid u can surpass 5 ghz

about Liquid Nitrogen - good liquid cooling can get u really close maybe 4.7 4.8Ghz
