Ok BIG question - reading the article from Nate

http://www.legitreviews.com/article/380/3/

saying about the conductive pen thing...could I do this? I have what looks to be the exact same 3 solder things, but mine are next to the :Oh **** i screwed Up" jumper..lol..loved that saying Nate.

maybe i could unlock all those features on my board??

oh shoot - this is for the intel board - you would never know i was gonna put this in the AMD forum :p but i told ya..

Mike

this would be sweet - gonna try and take a pic of the jumper things in a bit to post.

Hell for $7 I might pick a pen up and try it - worse it can do it explode in a shower of molten computer parts and burn through my skin.. :finga:

lol, the added options will be more than helpful for your overclocking, so I'd say go for it :P

Dan

EDIT:

Post a picture of the suspect jumper holes and let us decide.

The best bet is to send your board to nate and let him try an EE processor to see if it does have any unlocking options first

Otherwise, how lucky do ya feel punk?

different chipset, and board layout, not worth destroying your board IMO

can this unlock a cpu multiplier???
and when this conductive ink removed will the board stay overclocked or will it return to original state?
