You just can't beat the deal for the E4300 (until the price cuts anyways), along with a cheap 650i MoBo you can get a killer OC'er that's a ton of fun to play with and won't break the bank...............
I'm still working on the OC to get it 100% stable though, but all in all, a killer little system.

Maybe, maybe not, you'll never know until you try............
And just who cares for canned benchmarks anyways............not me..............

How's about who can get the most folding points with them?

that leaves variables that aren't fair. Now Folding benchmark would work. I don't have the resources to fold 24/7 anymore

I wasn't particularly thinking of determining a winner with that one, just getting more points for the team.
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to when I have to go home for the summer and don't get to fold at all.
Dan
PS. Sorry, that's the start of thread derailment, to get it back 'on topic', super pi is too predictable right?

I say this needs to not be a war fought on this thread alone, but more so on
HWbot However, the chips should perform on par I think at least since they have the same cache sizes at least when they are clocked at the same speed. Dicecca I say get some water on that baby lol.

it is, I have never pushed this 6400 at all.

I'm not really pushing the system either, still holding under 1.6v. No real need to push it until the new bios is released and I can drive up the FSB to the max, but still, a full 100% OC isn't really to bad IMHO. There are a few folks running modded Bios on far east sites that are pushing well over a 500 FSB.

I might be getting either a E4300 or E6300 chip in about an hour or so, along with a P5B-Dlx. I have the Ram already.
I might join this challenge this weekend ;)
Only problem is, I'll be on air until I get a new Skt 775 mounting for my water block.
Sweet OC btw Bio!

Got bored a little today and thought I'd push this sucked a bit more to see just how high it would go ..........
It's still not Orthos stable, but it's still fun to mess with............
