if you run two cards in non-CrossFire you will see a slight performance hit, so it will decrease performance.

680i does support triple-SLI, so you can use it for that right now with GTX and Ultra GeForce 8800 models.

Wow that really is a lot of tubes.

I don't see the point of going to all that effort to watercool the cards and such, when one of them is the slower 3850. Did the watercooling allow the 3850 to be clocked higher to shorten the performance gap?

Thanks for the photos, that was interesting! Still, for all the effort though, still would have to wonder about not switching that one card out for a matching 3870. =D>
