Have you got any way to measure the water temperature after it has been in the TEC 'radiator'?
Also, I trust coretemp more than the uGuru for accurate temperatures.

This huge is my TEC Cooler's big brother. It works up to 180 Watts without fan and up to 400 Watts with 2 x blue led Aerocool 120x120x25 Turbine 2000B Fan. It's a black anodized 250mmx440mm aluminium profile

On the AW9D-MAX topic, I didn't know there was a BIOS update last month that added support for the E8400 and E8300, I've new hope that this board might support 45nm quad's.

i got that new bios, and yes it supports E8400 and E8300... but it doesnt give more fsps anyway or i dunno the deal...

it works "up to" 400 but i use 230 watts now i'm busy with fueling up to mor FSBs. gimme sum advice for this mob to bring up to 3 gigz plz

Are you still struggling to get to 3Ghz? I found it relatively easy.

Erm, the best advice I can suggest is to loosen the trfc (so raise the numbers) if you are finding your memory holding you back.

You could always try the 1333MHz FSB strap if it still won't go that high (but I think it should be fine on the 1066Mhz strap).

I trust that you have overclocked before and get the basic principles? If not there is a guide here.

Thanks alot dan! Well these dayz i hit 5100 Mhz/peltier loop (26.141 super pi) with a Pentium D 930 3 GHz and trying to hit 5500 MHz but there is no more voltage in my hands to give to core or NB. So it's time to make some hard-mod to mobo, so i hope i can fuel up to 5500. But yeah you're right i have "keine ahnung" about Q6600 ocing I have to learn how to deal Q6600 but with my mobo, there is a FSB barrier as u mention to me. Now i am looking for a eVGA nForce 780i SLI 775 A1 Version to handle my E8400 and Q6600... I hit about 3870 MHz with my E8400 with a 11.797 super pi score. Its just because of ABIT AW9D MAX is not a native 1333 mobo. I should easily hit 4,0-4,5 Gigz with E8400 but because of mobo. Or i really don't kno the deal...

This mobo is great to make a big deal with old CPUs like Pentium D 930 or 945... U should easily hit 5-6 with ice water and even 7 gigz with liquid Nitrogen... Hope to see u there soon, bye!
