Re: New q6600 benchmark
if you want to fully load a quad run prime 95. it also automatically creates worker threads based on the number of cores you have, so you dont have to run multipile instances. kinda like smp for fahibleet wrote:Cores average 54c-56c at load running 2 instances of Orthos.stopthekilling77 wrote:right on! thats nothing to scoff at!

Re: New q6600 benchmark
I know it'll be in the build thread, but I'm lazy and can't be bothered to check it out. What cooler is on that?
@martini: I'm pretty sure the latest version of orthos automatically does that anyway, so you should only have to run one instance. Or does it only do 2 threads?

Re: New q6600 benchmark
I tried using both Orthos and Prime 95 single instances. Both only stressed core 0 and core 1 and yet both had affinity checked for all 4 cores. I'm not sure I have the latest versions and that may make a difference.
Dan: I'm using an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Its not expensive, but gets great reviews everywhere. Now I see why.
