Do yourself a favor and choose at least a tier2 PSU.
Read my post above in case you missed or ignored it.
jonnyguru reviewed a RP500-2 and the PSU im lookin at is a RP600V2
I walked into this expecting to finally have the pleasure of letting the magic blue smoke out of something but to my surprise and delight I've discovered a hidden gem instead
and the bad things were: lack of SATA cables(i will only have one SATA drive for quite a while, and the RP600 has 4 anyway); not fully sleeved(why would i care, im not showing it off, and its too little difference in ventilation to matter); and Fuhjyyu caps(i have plenty of ventilation, so they'll stay cool enough)

yeah, 5 dollars doesnt matter, but this one has only 1 PCIe connector, one less SATA, 3 less Amps on each 12v rail, and 2% less efficiency, how can it be better(other than buying the brand)
Its been proven to be reliable unlike Rosewill. If you need Sata that bad, by a Molex to Sata Power converter, hell I bet someone's got one lying around here they'd be willing to send you
what about the amps on the 12v rails? dan said i needed roughly 18+ amps on each, 16 does not appear to be over 18(although i could be wrong )
edit- unless he meant that it needed 18+ total, and it would be better to separate between the two rails(9+ used on each), so you dont stress out one, and leave the other wasted

Only $20 dollars more than the Rosewill and much better...please don't make us cry
Only $30 more than the CoolerMaster as well, go shovel some drives ala Meth's suggestion...

well, considering right now i have $0 and just bought a PSU a couple weeks ago, and have no definite source of income, and just bought a few things on the egg a couple days ago, the less expensive the better, regardless of "i know this is the best PSU manufacturer and model out there"
I have bought from Zip Zoom on a few occasions and they are good. Not quite as fast as NewEgg in my experience but equal in customer service. I would not hesitate to buy from them.

I have not purchased open box stuff from ZZF but I have from New Egg. I got a 17" NEC LCD monitor open box from New egg and it has been great. I would just make sure you read the return policy on open box stuff PSUs in particular to be sure you can at least return it for replacement within a reasonable time in the event something goes wrong. Zip Zoom has been around a long time so I am sure you will be fine. I take it the card finaly came in??
