SoundBlaster 5.1

I got one of these cards for a spare pc but i got it cheap because it was a show case one and they didnt have a box. I got some drivers for it windows sees it but it didnt install any program to control it. Any idea where i can get it?
Main Rig: C2D 6850 @ 3.0Ghz, 2Gb DDR2667Mhz @ 833Mhz 5-5-5-15 Timings , XFX xXx 8600GTS @ 730/2260 , Gigabyte Ga-945GCM-S2L
JukeBox: Currently in an Upgrade but im too lazy to do it at the moment

for the record i am " 47% addicted to Counterstrike" what i find weird because i havent played the game but once or twice since Battlefield 2 came out.

KnightRid i went their to get the drivers for the SOundblaster 5.1 but their where no corresponding applications. Like below

If the card is not too old you can contact Creative and request a copy of the original CD!
I did this recently for an Audigy Platinum! I paid $10 to cover S&H.

all the apps and drivers are there - what else are you looking for? That filename doesnt tell me anything ;)

Same link I posted above is the one I used to get this. As long as the manufacturer offers the files, I would not go to a 3rd party to get other versions.

Its only a SoundBlaster 5.1 its an El cheapo for a mates PC who's motherboard doesnt have audio

See it thier? it is installed and i set the option to use that in the Volume control but it still doesnt work.

The software provided by creative are generally updates and cannot be used if you dont have the original drivers and or programs.
Thats why I ordered the disc!
3rd party software generally doesnt work as well, if at all.

Is he trying to use it under Vista?

Under Xp the driver should be included. Haven't found any Vista support I have a few of those.

Nah hes just got some stock standard 'Arrow' (sort of like dell but really bad) computer that i formatted this was the card it came with.
