Do you know if it will have the 4 USBs or just 2? I'm a rock band addict! I can only find sparse info on-line about the release. It does not go into that kind of detail that I can find.

4 USB ports, the 40GB is the only version with two as far as i know. it's essentially the current 80GB PS3 bundled with some other stuff, i don't think there'll be any new hardware updates to the console itself

yes the slimline version will either be out by christmas or early next year, cuz tht's when sony will have it's 45nm chips in mass production. It's very possible the 120GB hard drive will be in it. Sony has also said that they will redesign it's outside.

If this is true im gonna wait, a slimline PS3 with improved hardware and bigger storage could be worth the wait. Hopefully it will have a faster blu-ray reader too.
