If I remember correctly, then you have vista. Nvidia drivers are known to cause conflicts and causes vista to crashe.

Yes Nvidia drivers may cause vista to crash but so does installing vista , But drivers will get better. I'm running a XfX 8800gt and it runs everything i throw at it.

although vista does suck, there one thing that every one can like in it. its going to be the stepping stone for the next Great OS. for some reason, for every awesome OS microsoft puts out, they have to put one out just berfore it thats worse than anything any one has every seen.
