Someone gave me a working Pentium D Processor, so I'm trying to put together a pc for my nephew. I have most of the components required except a Motherboard for this processor.
I'm looking for a cheap (but reliable) MB for it. Maybe something with on-board video. Any recommendation?
BTW, I know nothing about the chip (speed, FSB) except that it is a working Pentium D.

Re: Need MBoard
One question Are you planning on using DDR2 or DDR ram??
If planning on using DDR2 this is a pretty cheap one

Re: Need MBoard
Thanks for the help, I think I'll go with DDR ram. I do like the MSI MB, however, my only concern is, I don't know the FSB of the Processor.kappage wrote:One question Are you planning on using DDR2 or DDR ram??

Re: Need MBoard
Unless it is the PD805 (which runs at 533FSB) all PD's run at 800Mhz.

Re: Need MBoard
Thank you much
BTW will a 800FSB chip work in a MB with FSB: 1333/1066MHz? or must it start at 800FSB?
