Starting To Work With D-ICE

Never with my new mobo...

Some hard work on mobo (unuseable)...

D-ICE in it's box...

-66 degrees...

Checking water temps with pump...

Icing at -5 degrees...

Now some D-ICE and acetone...

It's geting colder with acetone...

Water (antifreeze+distilled water) temp is about -50 and totaly frozen...

Water loop and pump is frozen, temps are a bit high now...

It's still boiling (acetone+D-ICE) after 2 cold hours...

welcome to the DICE club! I haven't played around with is since this thread, but I still got my tube. You're making me want to fire it back up! So, did you fire this up on a working motherboard? What CPU you use and all that good stuff! Details man!

Thanks brother, I'm just testing old mobos and condensation. Not a real work yet, because pump and liquid are geting frozen. Now working on a copper DICE pot (tube) like your's... and I think i will use dice pot, not a frozen loop :evil:

dude where do you live the Poland or something? and how do you have enough money to get all this awesome stuff?

i am 52, soooo, my son is 19 years old and my daughter is 16 years old. Me and my wife, all we have 3 PC at home 8) All that stuff are not so expensive...

lets see, ive got about 6 pcs, one of them is off line right now (hard drive failed) one of them is not in use at all, one of them is my fileserver/ftp box, then theres my good rig, and then me pa's pc, and then theres the kitchen laptop, which is used for looking up recipes and such. but 2 of them are socket 478 p4s, one of them is an athalon xp, 2 of them are pentium 3's. so although i have a lot of pc's only one is worh more than about 200 dollars (my good rig in sig) :rolleyes:
