If the benchmark looks that good, I certainly hope their planned games are equally beautiful. Another good thing is since 3Dmark06 Vantage will be Vista only, there won't be anymore issue with benchmarkers losing 300-600 CPU points alone when using Vista, compared to those on XP.

The middle screenshot strongly reminded me of http://www.egosoft.com/games/x3/screens ... en_128.jpg All of the screenies reminded me of X3 Reunion, but that one in particular is pretty similar...

like 1440x900.i actually ment to say 1-5 fps i was exploring the first level, and since natural mod is a lighting mod (and a great one btw) i was getting better fps in the first part, when it was nice out. but once the sun when up (the beggining of the first light level) although the sunrise was beautiful, all hell broke lose and i was getting like 1 or 2 fps. here are some screenshots of the natural mod

The time has come for Futuremark to finally show something official from the next 3DMark - 3DMark Vantage. Futuremark released the first three screen shots from 3DMark Vantage this morning and of course Legit Reviews has them for you to see. Is it just me or do these futuremark benchmarks seem like modern demo scene releases with benchmarking capabilities? Not saying this is a bad thing at all, I still have an archive of old demo scene releases on my computer.

Now if only we can get futuremark 09 down to 64k :)
