IRON MAN

Post by aticotech »

Just saw the movie yesterday and I must say its the best adaptation to film of a classic comic so far. If you haven't seen it yet be sure to stay until the end of credits.

I whole heartly agree as it was quite good, best comic book/super hero movie adaptation so far. I guess its because Marvel had a hand in the making of it along with Jon Favreau being the director.

I've seen it, I thought it was great. They already announced the sequel for late 2010.

Hoping that the next incarnation of the Hulk won't suck

***SPOILERS FOR THE SCENE AFTER THE CREDITS***

It's pure geek gold... Nick Fury (played by Samuel Jackson) from S.H.I.E.L.D. shows up at Tony's home to talk about the Avengers Initiative! :) :)

***END SPOILERS***

Iron Man was GREAT. I love how it was (to a point) rooted in reality. The Iron Man tech was awesome, and the comedy beats fitted perfectly with the content. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as Tony Stark. The rest of the cast was pretty good too. :) :)

I still think Spiderman was the best adaptation so far - PERFECT actor for Peter Parker! I just thought it was dumb that so many people saw his face - how lame is that.

I was going to say Constantine was the best, but I figured I would get murdered..lol

Iron Man has established a very strong second place on my comic-to-movie list, Batman Begins is still #1.

My one complaint about this movie has to be *SPOILER ALERT!!* Obadiah's corny one-liners after he dons the Iron Monger suit. "I love this!"

Could anyone else detect the copious amounts of cheese in those?

I disagree, I think 300 was the best comic adaptation. Though as for comic book series, Spiderman was a very good adaptation.
