Finally I get around to folding.

Post by vicaphit »

Well, I finally downloaded the client, and started folding. I couldn't find a place to put a password, or was never asked to use a password.

Here is a screenshot, maybe you guys can tell me if I am on the right track. I probably won't be the best folder, as this is really the only computer I have up and running at the moment. I don't have a whole lot of room to set up another computer.

Great to have you folding :) Are you folding on the new rig? If you are, you might want to try to fold with the SMP client. You will get many more points that way. Either way it's great that you are folding. If you don't know already I fold under the name victor/natasha. Go Legit Reviews 38296. :partyman:

I didn't see the SMP client on the folding website. Where would I get that?

http://folding.stanford.edu/English/DownloadWinOther I am using SMP beta 5.91 beta 6. There is a update to that SMP client, I just have not figured out how to install it.

I ran into the same problem trying to install the new version. I was far too dumb on the day I tried it. Figure I'll give it a shot after vacation.

I finished my first WU over the weekend. Does it upload automatically once I run F@H with the internet on?

Yes!
If it can't send the results (if you disconnect during the upload) it will queue and send them later on.
