Yup  on the way home yesterday, I saw my local station had 3.99 going up on the sign, for the cheap stuff, everything else was $4++ and accourding to MSN gas
http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstatio ... rc=LeftNav diesel is close to $5

I could save 25 cents a gallon by driving 10 miles (and back) but I can't afford it  and they'd probably jack up the price by the time I got there :vom:

I just looked at crude prices today and for right now trading at 132.94. Pretty soon I may just have to get a lock on my gas tank. I'm sure people are thinking about stealing gas at these prices.

Good idea. Might not be a bad idea to be proactive on that one.

The gas tank in my van holds 36 gallons. It a no brainier for me to have a locking gas cap on that tank.

My gas can for my lawn mower got snatched some time in the last week, there is 2 gal of gas gone  . Went to mow my yard tonight and noticed my shed was open just a little, no gas. Guess the last time I got in the shed I didn't lock it  :axe: ](*,)

STL is at 3.93 and goes up more into IL you get.

I'm about 45-50miles north west of STL and this morning it was 3.89/gal, but I heard on the radio that it was back down around 127/barrel, lets see how long that last and how long the it takes to show at the pump. it was lowered on concerns that it may affect normal summer traveling NO F'N S!@# SHERLOCK. I wonder what rocket scientist come to that conclusion

even the cheap stations (safeway, costco, ARCO) are over $4 today.......diesel above $5 in many locations around here.
The good news is that people are driving less (freeway traffic is down 4% according to the washington DOT)
