SURE! whats going to happen is the robots are going to become so smart they are going to be used to make other robots. but when the robots are making other robots (without human supervision of course, because there robots) they are going to slightly tweak the design so that the robots are smart enough to band to gether to create even smarter robots, which will be smarter than us, make guns, and take over the world. quite simple really

I'm thinking robots vs monkeys. First they unite and destroy human kind. Once we've been wiped from the earth they turn on each other. Nobody knows who struck first...wait...either way, it's not good.
