I think our rank will be fine. If you look how far out the 7 teams ahead of us are compared to the 3 teams behind, we are holding our own and should actually gain a few spots during the Folding War.
I've actually lost a few units today because i was testing a more agressive overclock for the War, but since I dropped 3 units while I was mowing, I've cut it back to it's previous spot.

DMB2000uk , DaIceMan, I am going to order a xfx 280 graphics card on monday. I have a pc power and cooling 750 power supply. I think I have the 8 and 6 pin connector. Anyway if I have any problems getting it to fold, I hope that you can help.
Right now I have a XFX 7950 gt passive cooled. That's why I am not using the card to fold. What kind of points am I looking at with the new card. Can I still fold with two SMP clients. Or do I disable one and use the graphic card as the other.
Let's kick some butt! Fold on!
with the 98 point units, my 8800GTX runs just over 4900ppd, with the 479 point units, around 4400ppd. You should be around 6500-6800 with that card and the quad. From what I understand, you can run the GPU and still run one SMP with the quad core. BWall (wickedld9) is also on our team and he reads a lot more of the folding forums than i do, so i'm sure he will be able to help out as well.
As for the power supply, I have 2 of them. there are 2 6 pin connectors, and 2 6+2 pin connectors on mine. you should be good to go on that.

That's my problem I don't have the +2 pin connectors.
even so that will not give the graphics card enough power to fold 24/7.
