You see my link on my Antec 380W PSU?

Your board may not be dead though... mine was fine, so good luck!

I just noticed that yours is burnt on the orange 3.3V rails... Were you running an AMD system? Mine was burnt on the yellow 12V rails and was on an Intel system.

Hopefully you didn't fry your board. I really lucked out when mine burnt up. I wonder why some of the lower wattage Antec PSU's are melting up!

Antec puts together some of the best PSUs on the market. A single bad one (an older model at that) happens to every company. don't base your impression of a company on one negative experience. I currently use 4 ANTEC PSUs without a single problem, as well as a few OCZ models that run very well.

Man, I'll tell you. If I gave up on a company each time I had a negative experience.....I would be doing all my work on a pad with a pencil. Over the past 2-3 years, every company I have worked with has sent me a faulty part, or i've bought one....it just happens.

Mine was around 3 years old, would have got a newer antec to replace it but no funds at the moment, due to getting a new board as well.

I like my antec case, only thing I don't like about it is my old vid card (fx5700) was a tad cramped. other that that its built like a tank, wieghs almost as much to :)
