Forceware driver for Nvidia 420 Go
Where can I download a forceware driver for the Nvidia 420 Go and which version is the best. Also is version 4.5.9.1 a forceware and can anyone please also give me a link to download that version please. Many thanx.

I think that 72.30drivers will work on the nVidia Geforce Go 420 GPU. (Here is the modded .INF file) That driver is from 2-23-2005 and should be better than the 4.5.9.1 drivers that you sound like you are using. Those 4.5.9.1 drivers are from October 2003, so the 72.30's would be much newer.
The drivers that I linked to are used by HP on their 420Go & 440Go, so maybe you will luck out. As always try it at your own risk.
(1) Don't use the SETUP.EXE to install the driver. Instead of this you can install the driver in the hardware manager with an *.INF-file.
(2) Choose the driver for the Geforce4 MX 420.
(3) Ignore the windows message which tells you that this driver doesn't support your hardware.
(4) Reboot your machine.
