Zagi and DeadlyPope are 2 new members that have started Folding. they downloaded the wrong client and should be coming online soon with the new client. They are members of my gaming group and should be counted as members of Team 1 for the duration of the Folding War. Thanks.
Added them to my stats sheet.

I'm not moaning at the extra help for our team, but somehow the sheet doesn't quite look as impressive as when it was just 5 of us vs 13 of them and we were still winning.

With the day Darkstar had yesterday, we're going to need the back up. and besides, it's what dicecca wanted to begin with. more folders, more points. Pope wanted to use his own name, so I'm hoping he continues to fold after the War.

While he's technically not in the war (I'll ask him if he wants to when I see him tomorrow) I've got one of my workmates folding (look out for pripper). Last week he started out on the console (with an old 2.4Ghz P4), and by the looks of it he's been bitten by the bug and has gotten his 8800GTX (main rig) up and running :P

So I'm starting this thread at the end of the second week. Legit Reviews is breaking all kinds of personal records with this team folding war. You all are kicking some serious butt for the cause! By this time next week we'll have passed two more teams but whoopass (aka Nvidia) and evga will have passed us which will leave us in our current position, 112th. This is an incredible push we've gotten, it has truly been a team effort, and something that we should all be proud of. :prayer:

One of the goals for this competition was to boost our performance, as we were sorely in need of it with the warm months here in the US the team was in hibernation, if you will. What I would like to ask, and offer, is a push for as much as we can all get for the next week. So if you've been holding back so as not to show your hand, now is the time to unleash it all. Forget about which team is going to win... :partyman:

At our current production we are literally a month away from the top 100. Obviously keeping our current level of production is going to be impossible but the more we can get now, the less we'll need to do in the next month when those 100 degree days hit. Come the end Sept/Oct we'll be able to ramp up again and make an assault on the top 100, which we should easily break into before the end of the year.

I've got to echo what Bwall said here, never in my wildest dreams when I thought about doing this did I think we'd put out this much production, I will say what Bwall crossed out, screw the teams, who cares who wins, just get the points out there.

ok i have no clue what is up with my other machine. It runs fine until I install video card drivers. Once those are installed it freezes in windows. I don't get it. I can do everything else just fine, just not have the nvidia drivers installed. I tried both the CUDA drivers and the regular drivers.

well, it seems my quad build hates me. I'm having the same freezing in windows issue as Goku. I can live in BIOS or memtest for hour straight. get to windows with the GPU client running and it freezes in less than 5 minutes every time. GRRR! this has killed my points as the 8800 GT was in the server, dropping right around 5k ppd, now the server is sitting on an SMP unit that is 50 hours long at 900ppd and the 8800GT is doing SQUAT!

Let me know if you get it working Ice. I can't figure it out. I narrowed it down to video drivers. I can't find anything about it. I had the problem both in XP and Vista so it's not OS specific. I ran my machine without the nvidia drivers installed all night last night and it's still running today with no lock up. Now I just have to find a fix of some sort.

my son's baseball games were rained out tonight, so I'm going to mess with it more. I have enough machines here now that I can swap parts to narrow down some, but I'm going to start with older drivers and see if that helps any at all. I feel it's video related as there are some funky artifacts on the screen when it crashes.

FTP is down at my work, so I can't upload the stats, but as of 3am EOC time the points were

Team Dan: 937,977
Team 2: 901,309

Our ISP has decided that they are going to perform maintenance on their routers, so half the computers in the building are down and the other half are up.
My 8600GTS GPU, and 8800GTX GPU clients look like they have kept net access, but the 8core SMP Mac was down from whatever time they started messing with the routers.
I've managed to cycle through IP addresses till it got a router at the ISP that was working, so its now back up and able to send results.
Not sure if this is going to stay up so fingers crossed it will.

Dan

*Edit* Looks like they've finished, ftp is back up at least, so, Stats Updated
