Post by smack323 »

i have some parts laying around and am thinking about building a computer to use on my 55inch HDTV. unfortunatly the mother board is AGP. what do you guys think about this card.. will it perform well on a TV that size? i will prob play some games on it.. i am thinking mostly racing games.

SAPPHIRE 100238L Radeon HD 3650 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X HDCP

isnt some company coming out with a 9600GT AGP? i believe it would outperform that card handily

ok, maybe im just crazy, anyway, the 256-bit 3850 from sapphire is 115 after a $15 MIR

but the 3650 shown is good as it gets for sub $130 by the looks

um, the one you linked to is 1: the most expensive version of the exact same thing as what i posted, and 2: has much worse consumer reviews than what i posted

i think that one has 512mb of ram.. but anyway, i found another motherboard at home that isnt being used that has a pci-e slot- so i'll prob go with a nvidia card. i just need to do somemore research to find the best SUB $100 card.
