HD4850 and OpenGL

Post by musman »

Hello,

I have a MSI HD4850 are the OpenGL drivers included in driver download? I have driver version 8.7.
I just purchases X-plane and when I start to load the game it loads about half way and crashes, it's an OpenGL game.

Thanks!

As far as I know, the newest Catalyst driver should definitely support any OpenGL application. Have you checked for any available patches or updates to X-plane? Try updating all of your software and hardware with the latest drivers and updates, perhaps it isn't your graphics card.

No I have not updated the X-Plane software, I will do that as soon as I get home. ATI just released new drivers for my video card also, so there is hope.

Thank You.
