I've been looking at prices from a few places. Petras, Danger Den, and da egg. I'm thinking that I'll probably get most everything from Petras though. Do you have other recommendations?

Thanks Bio, forgot you had those in your first reply. And the prices are very nice there!

So I'm still waiting to see reviews on the GTZ, so right now it's between that and the D-Tek.

Oh, while I'm thinking about it. Regarding the MCP655. Do you (anyone reading  ) recommend getting the one with the adjustable speed or not? I'm thinking yes, but just curious.

those pumps are pretty quiet, dont really need adjustable speed, and if your really want it you can hook it up to a fan controller to

I'd get the pump without the adjustment to save a little cash..............

I have the adjustable version and have never run it on anything but full speed.

Parts have been ordered, now the waiting begins

I probably won't start working on putting everything together until next weekend or the weekend after. I'll create some sort of work log and throw it all up once complete. I'm going to take this as an opportunity to clean up my cabling a bit as well.

I still have to determine where I'm going to mount the RAD and what fabrication may be involved. This thing might also get a paint job.

what did you end up getting?
and some tips: flush everything out with white vinager before you put it together, fill and leak test INSIDE the case (i made the mistake of doing it outside, lol), and have fun but take your time. try to make the pump the lowest part of the loop, makes filling and bleeding a whole lot easier

CPU - Swiftech GTZ
GPU - MCW60
Pump - MCP655
Rad - MCR320 (with Bitspower 1/2" fittings)
Fans - YATE LOON 120mm (x3)
Tubing - Tygon Silver 1/2in ID 3/4in OD
Res - changed my mind and will do a T (Dangerden Derlin T with Dangerden High Flow 1/2" fittings)

I also thought it would be a good time to add a fan controller, so I ordered a Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme (black). Another accessory I got is black RadGrillz thingywho.

Yep, yep and yep. I had read those things and it appears to be sound advice.

I'm still working out where I'll stuff everything, and I will know more once I get everything in.

Thermaltake Armor (the black full tower version, and not one of the newer ones with chrome and curb feelers)

ok, im trying to figure out how to get a rad in there myself. if your feeling daring, you can take out the little rim around the top and the front panel audio &usb ports and put it there and cut it using the rad grill as a template (i would recommend drilling a hole big enough to fit a saw's all in there and then using one of those) if you have a rivet gun lying around it makes it alot easier to take the top panel off while you work with it.

So, here's a thought. Running it on it's edge lengthwise above the case. So if you looked at it from the front it would sorta look like an upside down T. Basically it would run perpendicular to the top of the case.

you mean like behind the mobo tray on the back panel? i wouldnt recommend that, no ventilatoin. if you have a dremel or a saws all or a drill even you could hack out the hard drive bay next to the psu and put it there i think

No, I mean physically outside of the case and on top. And instead of running the rad flat turning it 90 degrees. Use L brackets to mount it to the top and cut some holes for the water lines to run into the case.

I don't think it will be a total waste. It will cover the fans and keep little fingers out. Anyway, this was just a thought. I'll see what I can come up with once I actually get the parts.

I ordered everything last Friday. The Sidewinder package showed up yesterday and the JabTech package showed up today. May take Friday off to make any necessary case changes and put everything together. I'd take a picture of the stuff, but the wife must have grabbed the SLR.

Think I should add the log to this thread or start a new one?

Have a box full of odds and ends too, figured I'd just show the meat here.
