September 11, 2001 - seven years later

Post by Apoptosis »

I just wanted to point out that today is the anniversary of the terrorist of 9/11 for those that didn't know/couldn't remember.

I was on a American Airlines flight from the US to Canada last year and it honestly did make me a bit nervous about flying on that date. The day really did change the way many of us go about our lives and it should never be forgotten.

A moment of silence for those that passed away on 9/11 and to all those in the armed forces that have fought overseas since 9/11 is more than deserved.

I work in the travel industry, and suprisingly few people have mentioned the terror attacks this year. Usually I would get a few people who would think twice about flying today, but it doesn't seem to be true this year.

Thankfully fear is passing.

We mustn't forget, but we also should not become irrational because of what happened. Not saying anyone here is, but some people are...
