Besides, the picture Zertz posted shows the dual core next to the bar-code serial label, if you look on the pics of your board, that puts the CPU under the little heatsink and not the big one.

Finally got a copy of Windows XP (Working for MS helps )

Photoshop is slow but usuable. I'm using the box for an upcoming review. I bet 2Gs of memory would help, but only one DIMM can be used, and its gotta be ultralowprofile (ie half height)

I'll bench Atom Dual Core once I finish this review

Hey, do you have power consumption values for your D945GCLF2 build? I'm planning on building a Mini-ITX PC and I wanted to know if the power supply (60W) with my targeted case (APEX MW-100) is up to the task. It'll be a fairly basic build:

APEX MW-100 w/ 60W PSU
Intel D945GCLF2
Kingston KVR667D2N5/1G
Seagate Momentus 5400.3 80GB
Sony NEC Optiarc AD-7590S-01 Slimline

Thanks!

You're fine. I was at load 40W. I have a 60W in mine as well. I'll have an upcoming review of this in the next couple months (or when work allows)

Would you happen to remember start-up wattage? Also, can you post your system specs? Just want a point of comparison. Thanks! :)

Cool. Thanks for the quick reply. Hopefully, using a 2.5" notebook drive wouldn't add significantly more power than SSD. I'll be taking the plunge now. Wish me luck! :)
