DVI VS. VGA (dsub)
do you think there is any noticable difference? because ive found a KVM (something i need) for 14.99 after MIR that has usb and Dsub. the ones that have USB and DVI are in the hundreds range, plus cables. do you think that is at all worth it?

Re: DVI VS. VGA (dsub)
I would say it depends on the resolution. I don't know though, because I can't tell a difference between VGA and DVI

i can't tell a difference, but have only used both on up to 20" LCD's at 1600x1200.

well thats fine then because it will only be 1440x900. here is the link to the KVM which seems to be a great deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817182157

I haven't really noticed a difference either. Using a 24" LCD @ 1920x1200
I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong.

It's amazing how cheap you can get the VGA KVM's.
I guess you need a pretty decent monitor to show the benefits of DVI over VGA, they are minimal at best on most monitors.

Yeah well, future expandability and all that. Plus I personally prefer DVI over DSUB.

Re: DVI VS. VGA (dsub)
I believe (could be wrong though) that analog VGA connections might break the HDCP chain (only applicable if you watch protected HD content though).
Otherwise looks like a good deal.
