I'm going to have to agree here. If it has a twist off cap, I tend to stay away from it.

Looks like a good build. Looks like you need to tuck away some cables, but it doesn't look like there is anywhere to put them, or enough length for most of them.

Poor student. Cheap $5 for a 12-pack. No real choice in the matter if I want to have a weekend beer buzz. (It's better than PBR)
Thanks vicaphit, yeah it's pretty much near impossible to get all those wires to be nice and organized, but when I have some spare time this weekend, I'll try to clean it up a bit more.

It's a long shot, but if you turn the PSU upside down (so that the wires coming out the back are on the side closest to the motherboard) is there enough flex on the 4pin power cable to route it *under* the graphics card?

Like through here:

Or if you managed to find some extension cables, you could just wait on those..

Dan

PS. I don't know if you want to trust random shops on google, but there are a few 4pin extenders on there if you look through the results

Hmmm, smart idea. Once I get an extender, I'll try routing through there versus putting it under the motherboard!

Partaking in a bit of Champagne, I see.

Nice looking rig. As far as splicing cables, I wouldn't see any issue with correctly splicing a peripheral cable, obviously you wouldn't wanna hack up any of the cables directly from the PSU.

Hey, I was just wondering, did the E7300 work with your GA-73VM-S2 motherboard?
'Cause I am planning to upgrade my CPU, seeing as it's the only thing slowing my PC down at the moment (Intel E2180 @2.00ghz, 3 GB DDR2, ATI 2400pro 512mb, 750gb WD HDD) and was planning on a C2D, and I can get that one real cheap, but i wasn't sure if it was compatible with my Motherboard, so if you can let me know if yours worked all good, that would be awesome.
