Eight different solder points and pin-outs allow multimeter readings of DIMM, ICH, ICH PCIe, IOH, QPI, CPU PLL, and Core voltages.

It's about time a mobo manufacturer gave intentional usable points for measuring various board voltages - NICE!

Re: Asus Rampage II Extreme
Bit of an old thread but I gotta agree, if I had the income to dispose of I'd be getting this sucker. Will be nice to know voltages at stock, then overclocked not just for best OC tuning but to ensure nothing is going to get cooked when pushing that CPU up against the wall...

Well this IS a LGA1366 motherboard... I just shudder to think how much they will be asking for this one. Does anyone know yet?stopthekilling77 wrote:Wonder how many of these features will be brought to the motherboard market when LGA 1366 is the new top dog

The Asus Rampage II Extreme is top of my list, but I saw this motherboard and I would like some feedback to see what you think if it would be better http://www.xpcgear.com/ex58.html its not out yet but looks like a good overclocker.

Re: Asus Rampage II Extreme
ive owned both and like gigabyte boards better, especially since you probably wont be doing such extreme overclocking to need those solder points

Natasha does all the work here. I just fold. Need a faster rig for her. I think she is getting spoilled. She used to work on a Intel P4 1.8. Talk about a slow rig. Must say back in the day, it did the job. How times change.
