Well I put the thermaltake duo orb gpu cooler. Seemed to be working but after a bit of time I noticed that my temps were rising. The back of the board behind the chip was hot to the touch and I couldn't touch the cooling block for more than a few seconds. The nvidia control panel showed my chip temp at 103 c. I think that's a bit hot. So in conclusion I don't recommend this cooler on the 9800gtx  . time to find something different.
