Couple of guys at work are going to fold under my name until I can get a few folding rigs going again. So you should see a revival of sorts from wwd.

2nd friend's rig came online today. :) I'm currently working on getting my main PC back up and running. I have my 8800gtx back from RMA. I have a problem with it though. Whenever I try to fold on it, it starts making a high pitched whine. It doesn't make the noise when I play bf2142, though.

An actual high pitched whine (without any speakers or headphones on?)
I notice a high pitched whine when i'm folding and listening to music through headphones, but its not a physical sound but rather a through-my-headphones one.

A friend has two 8800GTX'es and they both do that. :(

It's normal whatever it is.

Both my 8800GTX's and 8800GT's do the same thing. I've read on several boards that it's a normal occurrence and isn't harmful to the cards. Though, I personally have a sensitivity to high pitch noises and it's harmful to my head. :) My new headset seems to block out the frequency though so I'm learning to cope with it.

My 8800GTX does it also, sometimes I can block it out other times not.
